Acer Aspire P3 Ultrabook, Smart Tablet, Convertible Ultrabook
Acer, a Korean Electronics major recently launched their latest tablet in Aspire series. Aspire P3 tablet features functions of ultrabook laptop as well. With a special keyboard accessory it works as an Ultrabook. In the direction of Microsoft's Surface Pro, Acer has introduced ultrabook fitted into a tablet design. It shows a great convertible tablet/ultrabook model.
Acer Aspire P3 is a great tablet currently available. It is 11.6” tablet running on Windows 8. While screen flipped up, and keyboard attached, it becomes excellent tablet computer. At a price tag of £599/ $799 it can be considered as high end, best priced Ultrabook.

Considering latest hardware and laptop/ultrabook's prices, Aspire P3 is a strong contender in small laptop series. It can actually complete the functions of tablet, laptop and ultrabook.

Hybrid tablet laptop is one the major attraction for best productivity now days. Acer Aspire P3 stands at a close competition.

P3 has an excellent design built. It has brushed aluminum casing with glass screen on top. Tablet fits into the removable keyboard with rigid plastic flap and ready to work as an ultrabook. It seem an upgraded version of Acer Ionica W700. It has excellent soft keyboard and typing experience is quite easy. It has pair of Dolby enhanced stereo speakers at the bottom side. However attaching and removing tablet from keyboard casing is not so easy.

Aspire P3 is equipped with Intel's latest Core i3 and i5 processor. It has 2GB/4GB RAM with 60GB/120GB Flash SSD drive storage. Device has Intel's 4000 Graphics chipset. P3 comes with huge 5280 mAh 4 cells, Li-Ion battery support which is enough to take a full day load. Acer claims an average 7hr full working capacity with this battery. At this configuration P3 completes the specifications of an ultrabook.

Acer Aspire P3 has stunning 11.6 Inch, 1366x768p IPS display with LED-Backlit LCD technology. Even though it is not a full HD display and being just a mediocre screen, it shows vibrant colors and great viewing angles. It has 5Mp camera which is enough for taking good shots.

Acer's latest Aspire S7 ultrabook is a full fledged laptop already available in the market. Acer's Iconica W3, an 8 Inch, world’s first windows 8 based tablet became quite successful. While Samsung recently introduced their Ativ series, Sony's Vaio Duo 13 and Asus's VivoBook, Acer took serious steps towards the tablet computer with smart compact design.
