1 Huawei Ascend P6 Review, "World's Thinnest Smartphone"

The Huawei Ascend P6, under the current title "World's Thinnest Smartphone" has fabulous ultra-thin design and overall built. At mealy 6.18 mm thick, device is relatively less expensive considering its overall design.
(Galaxy S4 - 7.9mm and Ascend Mate - 9.9mm thick). It won't be a mistake if called as "Ascend P6.18 or Apple's next design with Android base".
Huawei Ascend P6
Huawei's Ascend P6 has brushed metal flat on sides similar to iPhone and there is round curved plastic rolled at the bottom. On the edges, it has microSIM, microUSB slots, power and volume buttons. On the left back bottom there are speaker grills, on left up back there are 8 Mp primary camera with LED Flash and a Huawei Logo on top middle center  Device also has great 5 Mp front facing camera. The headphone jack is plugged with an aluminum pin. The Same pin is used to open other memory and SIM slots. Again, overall phone design is extremely thin and flat.

Ascend P6 is equipped with 1.5 GHz Quad Core Huawei processor with 2 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, which is similar in Ascend Mate. The device works on latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It is modified with Huawei's custom Emotion UI. Device's 8 Mp and 5 Mp cameras are capable of shooting 1080p and 720p videos respectively. On top of the desktop profile, there is Me widget which combines weather, contacts, player and gallery.

While Ascend P2 is in-budget quad core processor smartphone and Ascend Mate proved to be an excellent phablet series, Huawei seriously worked on what thinnest they could possibly bring. P6 is for those who love latest innovation and design. Consideration specifications and performance there is no much difference between P6 and Ascend Mate. Comparing Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5, Huawei Ascend P6 is a strong contender in terms of design. P6 lacks in top-notch specifications and has just mid range hardware. The device gives a clear and loud sound with the speakers located at the bottom of the device.

Benchmarking
AnTuTu rates P6 at 14000 is fairly more than most other peers even it’s costing are lower. Certainly P6 is not as fast as Galaxy S4, HTC One or even iPhone 5.

Its cons considerably include missing NFC and LTE features. Again phone lacks in terms of battery support. It has microSD slot which P2 does not have. with these limitations P6 seems in slight trouble otherwise.
