At just 8.65mm thin, the device feels very comfortable in hand (Slightly thicker than iPad Mini). It is quite taller than old one. As Android 4.3 supports, Open GL ES 3.0 it is certainly great news for game lovers. Open GL ES 3.0 enhances visual effects and motion speed, and with this time, Nexus devices will surely have more demand for gaming lovers.

With heavy 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor (Krait 300 cores), Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of enough RAM Nexus 7 now stands very high in processing performance race.

Even with reduced battery support from 4325mAh on previous to 3950mAh, Nexus 7 2.0 is designed to last longer with its optimized hardware and supports almost full day on single charge. Asus also have made considerably great enhancement in speaker audio quality for a great multimedia experience. Nexus 7 now supports stereo sound playback. New Nexus 7 charges perfectly with Nokia's Fatboy, GS4 pad, Energizer dual pad charging docks.

Its 5Mp camera performs pretty well. Surely not comparable to other high-end devices but this time with an addition of a camera on a tablet device, now Asus's tablet looks complete. Its front facing 1.2Mp camera is very useful for video chats. Nexus 7 2.0 is greatly capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps.

Benchmarking indices, this time, rates Google Nexus 7 (2013) at least 35-50% higher in comparison to its predecessor Nexus tablet. AnTuTu Rating: 19883

It has 16GB and 32GB storage options available, without microSD slot. Nexus 7 2.0 has six LTE frequencies (1,2,4,5,13 & 17) and additional pentaband HSPA+ and quadband GSM/EDGE in North America. It is also supported with Verizon and AT&T's LTE bands, European bands.
