Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240, 5.7Inch True HD IPS Display, 1280x720p
Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240, HTC One replica, Galaxy Mega's Screen with Galaxy Note 2's Power is the latest device from Micromax India.

Micromax has dispersed their presences all over India. With low priced and decent smartphones, Micromax has earned a good brand value. After their success in high-end Canvas series, a recently launched Canvas Doodle 2 A240 is company's hi-end, big budget device.

Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 has 5.7 Inch IPS Display with great 1280x720p resolution. The phone is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor with 1 GB RAM which is slightly on the lower side compared to the current competition. The phone has enough 12 GB of internal memory support. The phone has excellent Galaxy 4 type gesture features and has enough support of 2600 mAh battery backup.

With its great 12Mp Dual LED Flash camera phone stands high in the current camera competition. The phone supports better connectivity features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4, USB 2 and 3G.

Comparison with Canvas 4
In comparison with its latest predecessor Canvas 4 A210 it has bigger display size. Doodle 2 is heavier in weight. Display configuration and overall thickness are same in both the devices. The phone has no expandable memory slot which is present in Canvas 4 A210. Canvas Doodle 2 has 12 Mp camera whereas Canvas 4 has 13 Mp camera. Doodle has Quad core MediaTek Processor while Canvas 4 has Cortex A7 Quad Core Processor. Both devices can simply be differentiated as “Big screen vs. light weight respectively”.

Comparision with Galaxy Mega 5.8
Doodle 2 has certainly higher resolution in comparison of Mega's 540x960p. But Galaxy Mega comes with great 16 GB memory again expandable up to 64 GB with microSD. That’s a great factor at just above price tag of Rs. 21,000.

Canvas Doodle 2 A240 is currently the most expensive phone from Micromax. It is available at price tag of Rs. 18,990. Doodle at this big screen and overall specs are really a great deal. Phone display size is comparable with Galaxy Mega 5.8. It has great aluminum brushed body used. Doodle 2 is certainly an advance Micromax product. Certainly currently its blow to unlock and shake to unlock features is not so welcomed. Feels some kind of awkward moments.

Galaxy Note 3 will give tough competition to Canvas Doodle 2 A240 which is about to arrive by next week.
