Kindle Fire HD 8.9, Best Update Over Fire HD, 4G Enabled
Amazon's latest Kindle Fire HD 8.9 is an upgraded version of its predecessor Fire HD with a larger screen and faster processor. It has 8.9 Inch Display with an exactly similar design of previous Fire HD.

HD 8.9 has stunning 1920x1200p resolution with enough 254ppi density. Its IPS display gives great wide viewing angles with excellent color production schemes. With similar ZGT (Zero Gap Technology) touchscreen experience is really amazing.

Certainly not the best display comparing with 4th Gen iPads and Nexus 10, but surely great for reading and overall multimedia experience. With micro HDMI port, you can even get video display on large screen TV.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD and Fire HD 8.9

With similar construction and solid built, HD 8.9 look bigger. Even though it is just 8.8mm thick with slightly heavier in weight with 567g. Around bezels, it has 3.5mm headphone jack, Volume Rocker, Power button, microUSB and micro HDMI slots. Looking at specs HD 8.9 has faster 1.5 GHz Dual Core OMAP Processor (Texas Instruments) with enough 1GB RAM.  

Networking: 4G LTE Specs: LTE 17, 4; WCDMA 1, 2, 5, 8; Other: GSM, HSPA+, HSDPA, EDGE.

Its 32GB LTE version starts at high $499 and 64GB at $599. HD 8.9 is also available in Wi-Fi only variant, starting at $299. Similar to previous version HD 8.9 doesn't support memory expansion. With Amazon's PowerFast charger costing at £13 you can make it ready instantly.  

Amazon's custom UI makes Android Effect completely vanished looking something totally different. Notification Centre is of great assist. It can be accessed on swapping down from a top. Looking at overall tablet it is a complete replica of Kindle HD Fire with bigger size and additional features.

At $49.99 you get one-year data on monthly 250MB fix plan. Amazon also offers 20GB Cloud Storage.

Looking at competition Fire HD 8.9 is a bit costlier compared to other similar tablets even Fire HD was way cheap. Again Amazon costs additional $15 to get rid of those front display Ads.
