0 Using Google Tag Manager to Verify Site in Google Webmaster Tools

Google recently introduced a new method to verify our blog sites. This process is also simple and takes minimum time. It is called as Google Tag Manager. Right from updating a site to its analysis, site's ownership has its own importance. Using a container snippet code provided by Google Tag Manager you can easily verify your site. This is again a hassle free process and can be easily followed through Google Webmaster Tools site verification options.


Sign up at Google Tag Manager for an account.

 Create Container by filling a simple form.

After clicking next Manager will create lines of codes to paste into blog's template.

Copy this code lines entirely and paste under "tag" in template codes.
Go to Google Tag Manager Account page again and follow simple final steps. You can also skip this step for time being. It requires filling some tags in the container.

Edit necessary permissions and save the changes.

Choose the site which needs to be verified and click on Manage Site button. Click on Verify this site.
On the next verification page select Google Tag Manager from the available verification method options.

Click on Verify.
It’s Done!

This is again a great method to verify site, however, it requires a number of code lines to be pasted in our templates.

So again, a kind of different ways available. Surely Google has some reasons for the new ways. Let’s follow them later.
