Facebook Globalizing Internet Plans with Local Telecom Operators - Internet.org
Recently in July 2015 Facebook has unveiled a prototype of Solar-powered 42m wingspan Aquila Aircraft which will serve as Drone and supply internet connection over the air to many places.

With this, a ground stationed unit will transmit signals to Aquila and then it will send data to local users using laser transmitters. Facebook is promising as high as 10GB/s data speed using this Laser communication technology.

Meanwhile, Facebook is facing a global flak for making people available free data for the internet and calling over major 17 countries, Facebook mustering their teams to defend their new global internet expansion plan and fighting with digital rights groups.

Internet.org (In partnership with Reliance India) is currently providing facilities such as completely free access to categories of sites such as Facebook in social networking, Jagran Josh in career, Social blood in health, many famous news sites, translator, olx in shopping etc. in India. Meanwhile, FB is trying to donate worth $50 million to Asia-Pacific developers ($20 million alone in India) through FbStart initiative.
