Google's next OS Android 6 "Marshmallow" (codename M) arrived recently. Android 6 was officially released on 7 December 2015 and most of the new devices are already coming with this OS. With this, people all over the globe are waiting for their android update with all new features. Many have already received it through OTA or through custom ROM update. 

It is basically an advanced version of Lollipop. It introduces new permissions architecture, new APIs, Google Now On Tap feature, enhanced power management system, native fingerprint recognition, USB type C connectors and much more.

By October 2015, Google started releasing devices with new Marshmallow OS. Through OTA (over-the-air) support they started updating user phones with new operating system. In dec. 2015, Google released Android 6.0.1 update with new Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 devices. LG Nexus and G3 Devices

Google's latest Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P already coming with Android 6. Devices prior to this have already notified for updates through OTA. 

Android 6 is on the update list on all Nexus devices and most of the people have already updated their devices.

Blackberry Devices 

Blackberry's Priv has Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and they will soon release support for Android 6.

HTC Devices

HTC is currently in-line with latest Android OS with their promises for 2 years support for all latest devices. Their M8 and M9 models will surely have Marshmallow updates.

All below HTC models will receive Android 6 updates.

HTC Desire 826, HTC Desire 820, HTC Desire 816, HTC One M8, HTC One M8 Eye, HTC One E8, HTC One E9, HTC One M9+, HTC One E9+, HTC One ME, HTC Butterfly 3.

Most of the latest Huawei models will get support for Android 6 update and they have already started updating from November.

Samsung Devices

Samsung has already started rolling out Marshmallow OTA to their flagship models. Their latest devices are also planned to come with Android 6.0.1 instead of original version. There is no particular schedule for marshmallow update but soon all the Samsung devices will get support.

Sony Devices

Sony Xperia devices are yet to receive latest Marshmallow updates but surely it will come soon or later. Sony is currently working on the "Xperia Beta Program" which is bit different than "Concept of Android". 

But if you have limited patience and willing for forcing Android M into your sony device, you can do it through manual upgrade (Sony's Android Concept Marshmallow)
