How to get a refund on Google Play Store purchases
Sometimes purchasing through wild guesses doesn't turn fruitful. May be its due to poor quality or an app isn't worth as it claimed to be. If you want a refund, you need to run fast. Here is how to return paid apps, games, media or anything your purchase through the Google Play store.

Online goods or services are generally covered by some basic principles. Either product is faulty or misdescribed. In all those situations, you are liable to get a repair or refund. The purchased song doesn't play can trigger a refund but this song sounds like poor editing or cheap vocals doesn't unless it was labeled wrong and you were expecting some Rihana fresh title inside.

This process also works quickly or more precisely in specific countries such as the EU where you waive an automatic statutory right of withdrawal for most types of digital content such as in-app items, apps, games, music, movies on Google Play.

But if you are buying a service from a developer or a third party, you will need to contact the seller for withdrawal and refund.

Return paid apps and games or in-app purchases

Google's policy is simple - If you buy an Android app or game and if you are not happy with it you can quickly return within two hours for a full refund, but if you pass two hours you have another 48 hours window during which refund request will be processed by Google. After that time it's up to a developer who decides whether or not to refund.

To claim refund

Open Google Play Store App > tap on Menu icon > Order history > Select app or game you want to return > tap on a report a problem and select problem > follow further on-screen instructions to get your money back and uninstall the app or game.

If two hours period is already passed you won't see a refund button, it will say uninstall instead.

To claim a refund within 48 hours of purchases -

Open web browser > Go to your Google store account > scroll down to 'order history' > find the order you want to return > on right-click More > select request a refund > complete the form and confirm you want a refund.

How to contact an app or game developer
